I Love Tallow – Return & Refund Policy

Thank you for shopping with I Love Tallow! We are proud of the natural, handcrafted quality of our products. We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. Please read our Return & Refund Policy carefully.

1. Opened Products

Due to the personal nature of our skincare products and for hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns, issue refunds, or offer exchanges for any product once it has been opened, used, or if the safety seal (if applicable) has been broken.

We encourage you to carefully review the product descriptions, ingredient lists, and scent profiles on our website before making a purchase to ensure the product meets your needs and preferences. 

2. Unopened Products

We currently do not accept returns or offer refunds for unopened products due to changes of mind or ordering errors, given the small-batch, handcrafted nature of our items. We ask that you choose your products carefully. 

3. Damaged or Defective Items

We take great care in packaging our products. However, if you receive an item that is damaged during transit or is defective upon arrival, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.

To report a damaged or defective item:

  • Email us at info@ilovetallow.com.
  • Include your Order Number in the subject line (e.g., “Damaged Item – Order #12345”).
  • Provide a clear description of the damage or defect.
  • Attach clear photographs showing the damage to the product and the packaging (if the packaging was also damaged).

We will review your claim and the provided evidence. If the item is confirmed to be damaged or defective upon arrival due to shipping or a manufacturing issue, we will offer one of the following at our discretion:

  • A replacement of the same item shipped to you at no additional cost.
  • A full refund for the damaged/defective item, issued to your original method of payment.

Please do not discard the damaged item or packaging until we have completed our assessment, as we may require further information or its return. We will provide instructions if a return is necessary for damaged/defective goods.

4. Incorrect Items Received

If you receive an incorrect item in your order (different from what you ordered), please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order at info@ilovetallow.com Please include your order number and details about the incorrect item received. We will arrange for the correct item to be sent to you and provide instructions for returning the incorrect item at our expense.

5. Processing Refunds

Approved refunds for damaged, defective, or incorrect items will be processed within 7 business days of approval. The refund will be issued to the original method of payment. Please note that it may take additional time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund. Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (e.g., sending an incorrect item).

6. Exchanges

We do not offer exchanges at this time, except in the case of fulfilling a replacement for a confirmed damaged, defective, or incorrect item as outlined above.
